Even if Win8 may not be completely adopted for some time, the share of platforms using Flash will go down over time (even Adobe has given up on Flash for mobile platforms) and VGChartz is already slow due to Flash ads.
They should start thinking about replacing it soon before they are forced to in a rush, in a few years.
