first the source said that the PS4 had an integrated GPU on the CPU that will work together so technically you should probably be almost doubling those PS4 numbers.

Second the wii U has a r770 based GPU which is anything from the 4730-7870 with the 4730 being weaker than a single 6670 that is ignoring the advances in GPGPU and tessellation etc the newer architecture brings.

The Integrated GPU on the PS3 might not be cut/not even used. Also its a piece of crap and still wouldn't double it.

Alot of rumors state its the 4870 or close to it. and if you really think the 7670 would be good at tessellation etc you most be joking, its a low end card.

Like i said im just going by rumors, people are easy to believe the ones that says its going to be weaker then the PS3 and 360, this is just showing facts based on the rumors.

And the is no reason Nintendo would pick the weakest of the 4xxx Series GPU's, when they can go to the top of the 4xxx GPU's for cheap, unlike the 7xxx series.

It's not double but it's a significant boost and in an optomised envireoment with games designed to take advantage of it would be close

Shogun 2 (Medium, no AA) – Frames per second: higher is better

AMD A8-3850 on board graphics – 32
AMD A8-3850 Dual Graphics (HD 6670) – 74
AMD A8-3850 Single GPU (HD 6670) – 56

there is no chance that they will have a 4870 in a box the size of the Wii U, any rumour that included that was just going off the R770 rumour and guessing.

No a HD6670 would not be good at tesselation but it would still be 100x better than a R770 bassed GPU...

you can't base facts on rumours, that is an oxymoron.

Funny you should say that, as most of the people saying the Wii U will be weaker then the PS3 and 360 are doing just that.

alsoIn this chart from Toms Hardware it shows how the Core i3 running with 1 6570 works out better then the A8-3850 with 2 GPUs.

In the following three graphics, Intel's HD Graphics 3000 performance is represented by the blue bar. The green bar is the comparison data from AMD's A8-3850 with a Radeon HD 6570 installed, and the grey bar is Intel's Core i3 running the same Radeon HD 6570.

The DirectX 9 game where Dual Graphics didn’t work anyway demonstrates pretty similar performance if you’re using an Intel-based machine or an A8-3850 with a Radeon HD 6570 add-in. Both configs make playable what was previously embarrassing performance from HD Graphics 3000.

And there’s the money shot. At all three resolutions, the Intel/AMD combination is faster than the AMD/AMD setup, despite the boost offered by Dual Graphics.

Anyway i think we can be clear on 1 thing, all Nextgen systems wont have much of a differance when it comes to GFX, do you agree?.

No argueing that the i3 has better performance in most games as a CPU and due to the fact that support is hacked together with immature drivers I am surprised that it holds up as well as it does. Games just aren't designed to support it right now.

Next gen power is completely up in the air at this point but I doubt they will all be that close. it's clear that all the current leaks are bassed on platforms that are all still early and are very much subject to change, and especially the Orbis/Durango rumours are sure to be very far off what the final hardware will be. This rumour is the best source we have for the Orbis/Durango http://pastebin.com/j4jVaUv0 (it mentioned the codenames late last year, before Orbis was confirmed by the Playstation dev site) and that mentions that the Orbis has far weaker hardware than Durango. And with the current Orbis rumors pegging it arround 4x current gen or more and most Wii U rumours pegging it somwhere close to the PS360 (including Miyamoto who said not to expect much more) that means Durango will likely leave the other 2 for dust if current rumors hold.

But as I said it's all up in the air and we won't know until they have all launched, speculating at this point is just for kicks
