The same thing annoys me with the Wii-mote, the controller itself is nothing short if brilliant but there are way too few who are utilizing the potential this thing has, using mostly waggle functions and adding annoying sounds to the speakers. I understand perfectly well that there is room for two markets, or perhaps even more, and everyone should be free to enjoy the games they want. This is a good move by them, in my opinion, this and actually building a console which can recieve proper ports from consoles of the same generation. It shows that they are thinking are trying to solve the problems they've had over the 7th generation, sticking to the old ways out of defiance won't get them anywhere and the same goes for their fans. |
Agree about this, WM+ in particular oozes missed opportunities, but Balance Board too could have been used a lot more (it was actually used in even fewer games than WM+, but the bundled games' success put the issue in the background. Edit: and got it overlooked until it was too late and Kinect surpassed BB in weekly sales also after the first weeks after launch and after the 2nd Xmas boost, being on the way to do it lifetime too).
