360 fans don't care about sales anymore? I am the foremost one (I literally am with my YT account) and I always bring up 360s lifetime sales gap over PS3. I think the opposite where Sony fans try to act like sales dont matter when clearly they were enjoying it last gen.
Seems my history dates before yours. See my explanation explains why 360 fans started things up this gen. You may be too young but I witnessed last gen. Wasn't as big as this gen but PS2 fans always played the exclusive and especially sales card over xbox fans.
Oddly enough last gen I was a Gamecube supporter so I watched from the sidelines :P.

try not to generalize, cause as a PS fan i could give 2........ who wins. the only thing that will matter in the end is history, and facts and there will be plenty whether anyone likes it or not.
if PS3 does outsell the 360 then it will matter, but for many reasons. all this talk of gen's ending and what not, and on one stopped to think of it as a products life cycle.
the product that last the longest wins! crazy concept, but it works .

you don't truly believe that do you? PS fanboys will rejoice, while Xbox fanboys will counter with (it doesn't matter cause the 7th gen. war is over) while PS fanboys will say (Sony had a 10 yr. vision for PS3 and 2015 is just yr. 9) don't tell me you don't see this.
i know you know this, but windows don't stop products from selling, and you can't confine anything to an imaginary window or timeline.

Correction. I find it hard to believe any sane/normal people will care in 2015 :P. Offcourse I know full well PS3 fanboys will rejoice while Nintendo and Xbox gamers moved on long ago.

ninty fans may be, but MS fansboys likely not. once it's mentioned you know how it will turn out. as the 8th gen. war rages on. the 7th gen. will continuously be referenced, so it won't die down. as long as the PS360 are on the market, you should expect this.
if the 360 gets discontinued it may be worse.
i don't see anything ban able.
remember we are just holding a conversation, it's not a debate. i just want you to remember that it takes 2 sides to tango and as long as consoles are placed into war, by the very gamers that support the systems/industry, then there will be those who defend, those who counter, the rational ones who will get caut in the middle, and the fanboys.
just because one gen ends, doesn't mean the war is over. have you seen many rational fanboys on either side this gen.? no they just put their guns away.
all they need is ammo. come on sales, you're killingme here! the 7th gen. is ammo, and it will be used no matter how relevant it is, and i know you know this.
how often has the 6th gen. been brought in in regarding something this gen.? it won't die down, and it won't end, so just get the beer and popcorn, and hell lets have a BBQ, for how ever long the 8th gen last.
don't tell me it won't happen sales. and yes, they'll have to be pretty insane to care in 2015, but you've been here for how long now?
