This is great news considering the fact it will go against people who say Nintendo isnt good at making new IPs and along with that it will bring competition to a whole new area that Nintendo never went into (OP mentions Forza/GT).

 

Racing genre is boring compared to most other genres but its still a huge market if you think about it.

No my comment was serious but purely selfish. I really really really don't like sim racers so I'd rather have Nintendo focused on something else.
