If you like Nintendo's first party titles, it being less powerful than PS3, but still being in HD shouldn't matter as much. The problem I see though, if PS4/NeXbox are going that power route, and say that it at least doubles the capabilities of the previous systems, production costs for games will increase, as well as the console itself. And for some reason, I think games are going to rise 10 dollars to 69.99 to cover the costs. But that's just me.

If Nintendo doesn't want to compete in an area it has limited expertise in, sounds smart to me. Go with your strengths and gradually build up the weaknesses. Nintendo is all about unique experiences now, whereas Xbox and PS3 are about graphic experiences. Right now, unless we all come into a good deal of money, I'm worried at how expensive next-gen will be, excluding Wii U. So chances are, Wii U will be the only system I get next gen.
