I think all this talk is just hinting towards the obsurdity of your original comparison of GA vs. DD. In fact you assume people are buying a PS3 to get DD, would like to know how you figure out that's a substantial percentage of its sales. I'd say plenty of those sales are from current PS3 owners. Even if so you can't outrule GA as a system seller by comparing it to its better established counterpart. GA did sell systems, 28% of Vita owners bought the game. Vita launched 1.1 million consoles, not bad at all. GA still has the best legs on the Vita and already sold 480k as a launch title. You can't honestly expect a game that requires a $320 base cost of entry to outsell its celebrated $60 older brother when there is 37x as many consoles already out there. When a game launches and is considered a "system seller" it doesn't sell millions of systems, it sells thousands, the millions the game sells is to current console owners. Rol, you're falling apart here. |
What is considered a system seller here? I usually consider it software that bumps hardware for a noticeable time and actually hits the 1M sells, of course that's what I think.
