You can't forget though that X360 and PS3 has a combine userbase of almost 130 million users. Would you release GTAV on a userbase of 130 million or a new set on consoles just starting out?
Sure it'd be better for Microsoft and Sony to release it on the new conosle to get people to buy em but it's better for Rockstar, probably be another easy 20 million sales.
