Anyone else feel that Nintendo has next gen locked up?

1.  Sure, but I think his point is that WiiU gives people an intuitive interface that is highly familiar due to the fact that tablets are so popular.  Obviously the controller pales in overall functionality compared to a tablet.

2.  This is a bit presumptuous.  While it could do even less than that amount (given the state of consoles in Japan), it could also do a lot more with the right games if Japan widely adopts it as its next-gen console of choice.
