As long as Nintendo can keep the momentum going I can see them easily selling 10-15m units before the PS4 and 720 are released next year, and this will encourage third party publishers to continue to work on exclusives...and exclusives sell consoles at the end of the day. Many people are convinced that there won't be a great deal of exclusives next gen but if the installed base is there for the U and the other two platform's installed bases are tens of millions of units behind then it makes it a no-brainer imo.
And thanks to the dev costs of U titles being more expensive than Wii titles we'll actually see publishers marketing their software properly. There are a great deal of Wii titles that were stealth released and deserved to sell better.
