Sounds fair to me, the guy was an idiot. He got jailed for "inciting racial hatred" and considerring he made the comments in the most public forum you possibly can, the punishment fits imo. How does one go about inciting 'hate' exactly?

His twitter friends deleted/blocked/reprimanded him for what he said. So he actually dis-incited racial hatred by any quantifiable measure.

Hate laws have to be the most stupid legislation ever created. The amusing part is that the 'West' thinks it's morally superior for having them.

They actually incite more hatred for the people who are given special treatment before the law.

I really don't care what the crime he goes down for is called. He behaved like a twat, he should get punished for it. 2 months is nothing anyway. I believe he's a student, it just means no Summer holiday.
