i just know that all the big ones are just like water with a little bit of taste and many people who were on vacation in usa say the same, the beer tasting like pee (yeah not like pee you kow what i mean) or just like water compared to the beer here (not only german beer if you think i meant that)
we have few american beer sorts here as well (the big ones i was talking about). few girls like this because it's not so strong and because it tastes like pee (haha just joking). ok and i think near us-barrack you will find a lot of american beer for your soldiers.
but sure, you will have plenty of very small breweries with good beer, i won't deny that. i like the small ones much more here as well. it's a different league to the big ones who try to make a compromise for every taste which can never be as good as beer only made for one group of people.
i was talking only about the most succesful breweries in usa who dominate the market extremely and this beer is huge shit...
summarized, you have a lot of breweries which some of them will maybe make excellent beer (which i never drank but i believe it) but the big players make garbage and that's the beer you are known for. so stop drinking that in usa and drink more good beer from small breweries and your beer will get a good reputation (if it's as good as i hope). you are know for miller light, bud light, coors light and so on and this beer is lame.
here in germany we have some huge differences between north and south germany. south germany's beer (bavarian) is much better in my opinion and i believe 90% of germans think so but still, most don't drink it even when they think it's better isn't that crazy? ok it costs more in north germany this could be a one big reason...
