Hmm not sure, crappy rumor but hey think about this. MS launches 2 xbox's next gen, one with a disc drive and everything as their main system, then a small one thats pretty much a hard drive with a controller(kinect probably continuing to be external). It will be a XBLA only box, as someone suggested a test for DD only, and it'd be perfect for that, especially if they are able to provide all retail titles via XBLA. Now the consumer can choose which box to get, and the DD only one will probably have a lower price point. The DD only box could be the reason all this anti used games and no disk drive rumors are coming from, and by having 2 different SKUs and giving the consumer the choice it can happen. To only release a DD box now would be commercial suicide, but doing it this way potential success or failed attempt and continuation of selling typical consoles.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
