Vita is a sexier piece of kit no doubt, just needs some software. I'm big on the pro-vita side but I can look at the software line up and see that we're facing a barren spell until the holidays. There enough to keep me going but I'm fairly varied in my tastes.

Mind you, I don't totally get the appeal of 3DS's library but I guess that's just taste. I don't really have an interest in replaying my N64 collection and i'd take Wipeout over Mario kart. Super Mario Land 3D is a big feather in the 3DS's cap though - Vita just hasn't imo got a game like that which stands out as something truly special. Other then that I'd say the software is fairly comparable already though. They're two pretty distinct libraries of games though, so comparison is a bit tricky I guess.

Which is exactly why the "Games" category getting a winner and/or allowing it to be the deciding factor is entirely subjective. For example, I myself want to eventually get a 3DS, but yet another Mario Kart, Zelda remake, Starfox remake and yet another Mario game isn't enough to warrant that for me. Also, one could argue that Rayman Origins is more enjoyable than Super Mario 3D Land and that Uncharted is more enjoyable than Resident Evil Revelations. One could also use the extensive PSP library and PS1 games to bolster the "Games" debate. As stated by me earlier, if a secondary item like the Circle Pad Pro can be brought into the equation to bolster the 3DS control capabilities than the Vita can sure as hell use the PS3 and remote play to bolster it's "Games" library.

For me I was more intrigued by the Vita and it's more console style dedicated control schemes and large amount of available JRPG titles since I missed out on 90% of them on PSP due to lack of funds and/or dislike for the PSP nub.

This comparison can easily change based on who is reviewing it and what their gaming preferences are.

Still, I really enjoyed following this thread and look forward to more by D21.
