I still use a 14GB 360 as my primary console. I had to expand memory with an 8GB tumb drive, but how much is one of those now? Last I checked, it's <$10. I also download a lot of DLC, but I do delete it for old games. Currently I have DLC for Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3, Gears 3, Forza 2, 3, 4, Alan Wake, Too human, Lost Odyssey, Oblivion, Magna Carta 2, Halo Reach, DBZ: Burst Limit, Resident Evil 6, and others on my hard drive, and I still had 4 GB left ontop of all my saved data (which I never delete). You only really need more then 20GB if you install games. 360 does not require you to install games, and it doesn't make load times any faster (just makes it quieter). PS3 requires installation on many games, often times installs are 10GB in size. So while 20GB is more then enough on a 360, it's useless on a PS3 because you would only be able to play 2 or 3 games on it. The 360 Arcade is far from useless. XBL is almost useless, but not the 360 Arcade, that's a bargan and the way I see it, anybody who has enough $$$ to play PC or PS3 games and wants a second console, this is an obvious choice (unless you're considering the Wii). The price of the system is only the cost of 2 new games, and it's worth it even if it's just for Halo, Forza, Fable, Gears, and a few 3rd party exclusive shooters and JRPG's. |
Cross out XBLA and you can call XBL useless.
Yay!!!
