Don't see the big deal. This gen has proven there's room for more than on econsole to succeed (unless you buy into this apple killing the indusry crap which I don't at all). It aint the 90s anymore.
The wii u will succeed even if it aint the be all and end all of modern gaming. As will the next xbox and (maybe) the next ps (actually, sony is the one I'm most worried about these days...nothing seems to work for them of late!)
