Why is that? What makes you not want to buy it?

I think kungkras said it well...

I'd like to imagine there are more potential sales from casuals than from core video game players, so price the thing at $299 and have it out a year before the competition and it's over. The core will slowly creep back once they see the motion gaming nightmare is over. |
Motion gaming was never a nightmare.
It was the promise of something awesome, that was never fulfilled.

..nintendo broke their promise with the wii. nintendo broke their promise with the balance board. nintendo broke their promise with motion plus. i've been fooled too many times to trust nintendo now. the tablet controller will be a gimmick. not because it doesn't have potential but because nintendo will yet again move on to some other way to sell you another promise and another piece of plastic.
