You can map the aiming controls  to the A,B,X,Y buttons if you want. Also, if you can get a Circle Pad Pro you can move the character with the left analog stick.

I tryed using the face buttons for the aiming but it was just too slow and wonky feeling so I decided againt that control scheme. Right now ill just stick to the default controls until I can get my hands on the Circle Pad Pro.
