He existed, yes.  However, he didn't have any super-human abilities.  The Jesus that was reborn, is based on the sun's patterns in relation to the Earth, as, many Sun Gods were in history.  They all, Jesus included, died on a cross, and resurrected in 3 days...

Now, My knowledge on this is rusty.  Someone else will have to tell you, but, it's got something to do with the seasons.  But, Jesus was chosen to be another one of those sun gods.  Ra, another, as well as many other sun gods in history... well, pretty much all of them, were born on December 25, and, they were all resurrected 3 days after death, and they all had 12 deciples, follwers, etc.  This is based on the stars.  As well as the 3 kings, etc...  It's a story told by the lights in the night sky.

People of the past were....  I want to say too curious, and intelligent for their time, but, didn't have the knowledge, or resources, or documentation to know that they have unnatural chromosome fusing in their genes, and, for that reason, were created by something that, for whatever reason...  Decided to leave.  The ancients...  Of Mesopotamia, have documents of worshiping living gods, that left this planet.

Also, the first humans were from mesopotamia.  If you research it, you'll also learn that they have the first judicial system, writing system, etc.... schooling, and what-not.  Yeah..

However, as for me, the topic at hand...  I really can't answer this.  Being born in another time period...  It's complex if you don't know the things about life and death, yet, complicated to those that don't know...

So, my answer will have to be that, I choose this time period...

However, if that's not good enough, I want to go 50 years into the future.  Just to see if people got smarter (as a whole) or, are they all still stupid.

Nope, the first humans were from central Africa. Unless you're talking about the first human civilization, then I'm not sure.

"Missing links" have been discovered in Africa.  But, the thing is, humans didn't evolve, they were scientifically enginered to be made better and smarter, artificially from a "prototype model (the ape)."  We've done things like this in a lab ourselves..  Toying around with chickens, and lambs, or whatever.  So, it's not like we don't know the changes to look for, we have the technology to see those unnatural evidences of tampering, changes within us, and such tech, it just didn't exist thousands of years ago.

It's funny, because they were smart enough to figure out that something made them...  Just... didn't know what.

Nature doesn't take two separate chromosomes, and fuse them together to make something completely new.  I wouldn't be so quick to say that evolution is a lie, but, the thing is, it didn't happen with us.
