I disagree with a good deal of your thoughts, but this part is key. Shouldn't a console's exclusives BE what makes it shine? Why would I want to pick up a system to boast about it having a better quality MULTI-platform line-up? Not that that's all you're saying, but exclusive titles should always matter before anything else when choosing a console to buy. I want to pick up a system to see what the other guys don't have. In a sense, you're doing the PS3 a favor, because it matters little to most people which version of a multiplatform title has a few, minor extra bells and whistles.

People on forums think that everyone that owns a PS3 bows down before the exclusives but that not true at all. Multiplat games are really good and a lot of them shine and pleases to more people than exclusives.
Also the guy doesn't have a PC that allows him to run PC games. 360 has a lot of really good PC/360 exclusives so these games do count.
The reason I said it all matters to PS3 exclusives is because really 360 has a ton of them AND has the better version of most multiplatform games. Maybe to you it isn't a factor but I know a lot of people thet have both consoles and most multi are bought on Microsoft's console, anyway.
And why do people say 360's exclusives are mainly shooters? They have what... Halo? Do I have to list all PS3 exclusives shooters? People should stop with that, if a game is good it's good.

A 360 is basically giving you what a PC's got minus the graphics and with an addition of Halo, Gears and Forza. Outside of that their exclusives and multiplats are touchable. He really cant go wrong if hes not into shooters.
