The Vita is about 15 weeks ahead of the DC, so it would need to have an atrocious year all around to cross the line of Sega's last home console.

The PS3 has a notable bump in a few weeks, that was because of a Gundam game. We'll see if the Vita's Ciel no Surge or whatever it is called can keep up with that. I think it was a mighty 45k week for the PS3 back then.

Well, Vita's gundam is not that far, so it might help with a big bump as well and then Persona which will help for sure too. Ciel no Surge won't do much, I think. But that's it until 2013 for "big" announced games - only Final Fantasy X has a chance of being released this year!

Based on that, you still think no MH is going to be announced next month? Impossible, like I said, Nintendo would be dumb to allow, but sony would be even dumber to let it go.

There's also the price drop that will happen this year, so the PSV won't cross the DC line anyway. Plus, it should bring the PSV above the PS3 line again.

And yes, I still think that MH won't be announced for the PSV next month. Nintendo can't be dumb enough to have left a loophole in their moneyhatting contract. Nintendo's mission was to push Sony out of the handheld market and Monster Hunter is basically the key to it.

Yeah, but I don't think a price cut without a big game would do enough, I don't think it even would bring its numbers above PS3 this year, since it's at least 3 months away and PS3 will have some time to increase the gap. That's why MH is necessary. Sony is probably willing to give Kaz's mother in exchange for a MH game, no matter NIntendo's contract.

I agree that the Dreamcast line will never be reached, not even SCEJ could be that idiotic - but remember that the dreamcast launched with 3 games? And Vita with more than 30? So it's already a moral victory for the DC. Payback time after 12 years!!!!

Kinda...
