Now I'm not one of the people critical of the endings. If the closure is free DLC they mean likely mean it, and you can't really criticize them further other than not being perfect.
Edit: Imo if they're going to do ending DLC, they should make it free, or not at all. If they don't it will open up a whole new shitstorm.
