It's almost been 2 years since the release of Warren Spector and Junciton Point's Disney Epic Mickey. Since then, the game has been Disney's best selling single-platform game of all time... so it was inevitable that we'd see a sequel, right? Surely we'd get to see Mickey Mouse shine again, right?
Right.
The hype began last year in August, when a Disney online survey asked its participants which Epic Mickey 2 boxart they liked the best:

It all went quiet from that moment on, but the hype train went full steam ahead when Nintendo Power teased this image in last month's issue.

Rabbids? As if, those are definitely Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's ears!
Then GTTV announced that it would be revealing Warren Spector's next project Thursday night (that's tomorrow night). Here's the teaser:
Yes... I wonder what it could be...
Guys. It's time to go back to the world of Disney Magic and Epic Adventures. It's time for Epic Mickey 2!
So here's what we know:
- It's going to be a multi-console game. Most likely coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii.
- The development team contains around 700 people.
And here's some rumors:
- A seperate 3DS Micky game is being developed called "Power of Illusion" (a nod to Castle of Illusion?). Would have a more 2D approach compared to the console versions.
- The game is coming to the Wii U as well as the Wii/PS3/X360. There have been other rumors that say the Wii version would be enhanced if you play it on the Wii U.
All Aboard the Hype Train!
