Hmm, I would like to disagree with that comment... While not the best character I wouldnt say Olimar is the worst of all, actually I would give it to Snake or DK.

OT: I hope nintendo doesnt keep adding more 3rd party character to smash, sonic was ok, but snake?... Pls dont let it happen again. 

I think Snake was ok, hard to master but ive seen ''professional'' players do wonders with him. And DK... what the hell?! DK is awsome imo, I rly dont see what is wrong with him, he is strong, have good moves, easy to play and despite being heavy he still has a decent recover.

For me king dedede and ganondorf are by far the worst characters.

 

and for 3rd party characters, I like the idea of having more for the WiiU version but not to many. I wish they could manage to get only 1 representant for each big major game company...

 

• Sega: Sonic
• Konami: Snake
• Capcom: Megaman (or Ryu from street fighter)
• Ubisoft: Rayman
• Square-Enix: Sora from Kingdom Heart or some dude from Dragon Quest(I dont know the serie rly well)
• Namco: Some guy from Tekken or  Pac-Man (not so sure about having Pac-Man in ssb tho :S)
• Tecmo: Some chick from DoA or Ryu from Ninja Gaiden(seems possible now that Gaiden3 is coming to wiiu)

Thats all I can think of... Except maybe Activision and EA but I cant think of any major character for them (and I say screw those two, keep only the japanese publishers and Ubisoft and ignore these 2 giant heartless devilish companies :P)

If Nintendo manage to add something like 15 new nintendo character + some characters they toke out like Roy and Mewtwo, 5 new 3rd party characters seems reasonable. That would make a total of 55 characters, 48 1st party and 7 3rd party (or if you prefer 87%1st party), I have no problem with these numbers, would still totaly be a nintendo game but thats just me and I'm sure some ppl, would disagree :P But boy would I love seeing Mario clash with atleast Rayman and Megaman cause I admit that having the characters I mentioned from SE, Namco and Tecmo might be a stretch but dont forget that game will probably have DLC and i'm sure some companies would be interested in having a representant making an apearance in a game that could probably be a 10million+ seller (if we rely on ssbb sales)
