You know, the solution to this is pretty simple: Don't treat Americans like suspected terrorists simply because they're traveling on an airplane.  The FBI and other federal organizations can have a list of the people they know are dangerous and shouldn't be flying.  We shouldn't all suffer the price and humiliation for a few hundred people's hatred and violent tendencies.
