In a way it would be funny to see Pachter swallow his tears if this is the case.
I find it believable. WoW has been losing lots of subs and is on the descending curve.
Also if you take into account mists of Pandaria and the new pokemon like mini-game with pets, it clicks and makes complete sense. This might be blizzards atempt to get WoW growing again.
