| Jazz2K said: Everyone's wow factor is different and a lot of this debate is based purely on the wow factor. People are more easily impressed when a lot is going on at the same time than they are impressed by huge environment. Baking openess on small areas is easy and that leaves you with more polygons to play with. A lot of PS3 exclusives play with that aspect and they do it damn well. There's also character designs which people are easily impressed with. A game like MGS4 gets all sorts of free pass because of that but when one looks past the characters this game is bland. If people want to stay objective they would have to look at a lot more games with small areas and how much everything is well done. Games like Uncharted are well done. They do everything well and they have the wow factor to back them up. Saying it couldn't be done on 360 is far fetched though as Naughty Dog will never make a game for 360 but since every multiplat devs are able to create powerful games on both I wouldn't be surprised if ND would achieve the same on 360. I can't belive that with such minimal difference in power some people still think one is way more powerfull than the other. Super Nintendo was way more powerfull than the Genesis, Xbox was way more powerfull than PS2, PS3 being way more powerfull than 360? Lol. And again, you get more control on Forza 4 cars in Autovista mode than you get to control Kratos when you're in qte mode, does that mean that these sequences aren't part of the game? Are they FMVs? Lol! |
I said this before, and many people agreed, but people kept arguing. Graphics are subjective, to some people Forza will be the best looking game because of the most evolved and realistic lighting engine, however there is no water in the game, and very little to model. To others it will be Uncharted 3 because of the sand and vegetation animations. Others will like Gears 3 for the high texture detail, etc.
