I got Lumines 2 (psp) for less than a pound (98p), new singstar wireless microphones for £8 (instead of £30) among other things. I feel bad for them (especially the employers), but I guess it's good for customers.


I went into my local GAME and Gamestation. Didn't buy much, just picked up CoD4 for a fiver, and 400 Microsoft points for £3.50.

My friend bought Gears of War 3 for £12, and they were selling fat PS3s for £100, and PS3 Slims for £130. White Wii for £40, and black Wii for £60. Didn't check the 360.

Interestingly, in Gamestation they gave me a catalogue of games to pre-order. If you do not pre-order the game, they will not stock it. So, if you want any releases, you HAVE to pre-order it. I spoke to the manager in Gamestation, and he said that they've got a buyer (I'm assuming Walmart), but nothing's final yet. Unfortunatelty, we all know that if Walmart buys anything, it will be liquidating a lot of assets... so a lot of jobs will be lost, anyway.
