I personally didn't like the direction Nintendo took with Skyward Sword. But in general the market likes realistic Zelda more than "Celda"/ SS look Zelda. I think that's the best explanation. Even the Ocarina of Time remake is on track to outsell the DS games. It's a shame Aonuma prefers the comic look.
