As a gamer for very long now, I always prefered games based on their gameplay, graphics; albeit nice, being a second thought.
3D is just another gimmick thrown to the mass market imho. It is not giving us intrinsequely better games. Maybe, the only game 3D can be a plus would be the next Paper Mario. Otherwise, atm, no games uses 3D for gameplay afaik.
