This is the first week and it's only happening because Sony sells the PSP in more countries. Rest of the World is a stronger region for the PSP than USA and Europe (individually, not combined).

The better comparison would be PSP sales now vs DS sales a year ago to give a good idea on potential longevity (i.e. based on when they were replaced), and the DS was doing over 150k p/w back then....
