I would say that it is possible, since it is not the Legend of Link. Allthough they have used his name a few times in games. But I am content with him changing shape from time to time. Wolf, Wierd Mushroom kid in Majoras mask, flying on a bird, etc.

Well yeah, you know, maybe Link is trapped somewhere and a friend (female) has to go rescue him. This would create a love triangle Between Link, the friend, and Zelda and make the story more interesting. Hmm now I'm actually starting to really like the idea!

I actually really like that idea! Plenty of games have done that type of thing in the past, so why not? Would not mind Mario doing that type of thing as well. How about you start as whoever, until you find link, and then turn it possibly into a co-op or just go it the rest of the way alone as Link. Food for thought.

Yeah that would be cool! I really hope they do that. But it doesn't seem likely though. As for a Mario game, that'd be cool. I was starting to think he needs a sister or something anyways.

Right, and have one member of the triangle being a werewolf and the other a vampire and have Zelda choose one and such and such.....come on people, having a Zelda game without Link being the only main character is like having internet without access to porn. O:)
