Me... Its considered a good thread anytime I respond to a thread. Its an even better when I create the thread.

Seriously though, any thread can be good as long as its backed up with credible facts and not opinions. Some posters will back up their comments with "IMO" ($50 vg's if you know who I'm talking about!!), and then those threads usually end up in flame wars.
It also depends on your definition of a "good" thread. Are you talking about the amount of replies? or a quality thread. For example "pro-life vs. pro-choice" as a lot of replies, but personally I think it should of got locked the minute it showed up since it really just a place for people to argue over something
