I think certain games lend themselfs better to DLC, i would love to see it in games like mario kart and super smash bros. Even then i think you should have to unlock the DLC once purchased, just as you would any other in game content.
But i personally wouldn't like to see Zelda DLC. Once you've completed the story, i think that should be it.
