It depends on the type of DLC, and how and when it is presented.
For example:
Resident Evil 5: MP DLC, making me pay for MP that is clearly on the disc, think again you bastards, it aint gonna happen.
Mass Effect 2: The Shadow Broker, so worth it!
If it's already completely on the disc, and done when you buy the actual game, it's nothing more than a scam.
The ones I usually don't buy are MP map packs, always overpriced and not worth it.
