The underlying issue is that you want Nintendo to focus on online multiplayer and anything else would just be a distraction that would hurt your experience, so you came up with all that crazy stuff you said.

If wishing Nintendo financial luck is an issue then I have nothing to add. And on top of that, I've said that allowing many local players would be awesome.
