In that statement, I'd think he's implying more westernization. As they'd be trying to appeal to more western tastes. My Question would be does he mean critically or Review Wise?
For instance, a game like Xenoblade is still a failure (atleast in Europe) sales-wise compared to new WRPG's, like the Witcher (also a New IP), Deus Ex(not New, but dormant), Mass Effect (New IP). or even alpha protocol (New IP, considered a failure sales-wise).
Now what can you do to make a game like that appeal more in the west? Or will it just never.
