After a few hours, I'm actually going to give Bioware credit and say that they put together a pretty good game. The very opening is rough (I still think the scenario they opened with is just flat-out lazy writing. They wanted to create drama early, but had no idea how to do so while staying true to the rules of their universe). There are some brief segments, the "dream sequences," that seem pointless and kind of stupid. "Forcing" multi-player to get 100% sucks balls, and I hope a modder takes care of that ASAP. And I'm really glad I got spoiled about the endings, because they are stupid, lazy, and a huge letdown, but I've had time to get over them before starting the game so it won't be as bad for me.

All that said, I'm having a good time. The combat's still fun, and while not every conversation is a winner there are plenty of enjoyable moments. And it's especially nice to see them put in the consequences from previous games, especially since those were nearly-absent in ME2. Those extra quests and decisions from prior games start to pay off (or not) at last. I like that.
