This really should not be considered to Super Mario Galaxy. If Super Mario alaxy was 99c it would have sold way more than 100m, I'm just saying......You really cant compare a 60 dollar game to a 1 dollar game. Huge difference

How so? Wii hasn't even sold 100m!

LMAO why?  People can buy a 99c game an not care if they dont like it where as if you even rent a console game its like 6 dollars.  Thats like comparing a 10 inch tv to a 50 inch.  One is obviously better than the other there for the prices will be way different.  The thing is IOS games are growing but its not effecting console games either.  And out of the hundreds of thousands of games that get put on IOS you see very few do well.  What is the big ones?  Angry Birds, Infinity BLade, vs  Grand theft auto, Mario, Pokemon, Uncharted, Halo, Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, Zelda, Forza, Gran Turismo and this list doesnt end.  It is insulting to even compare IOS games to console games.  Hell, mario jumping has as many mechanis as what 99% of all IOS games.  Bang for your buck

I wouldn't be surprised if people would still download AB twice as much as most popular dedicated consoles title even if they were 1$ or free.

The highest selling, non-mandatory-bundled game ever: Mario Kart Wii 31.71M. I'm curious as to how many copies a game like this would sell, priced at 1$ or free on the iOS/Android platform. It probably reach Angry birds levels pretty fast thanks to multiplayer and pick-up-and-play appeal. But not Mario, I don't think so.
