Wow, that's some pretty impressive stuff, nice work! I'm in animation myself but nowhere near that level yet. I'm still getting my feet wet with 2D stuff in Flash/After Effects for the most part before I get more into 3D, though I have done a little bit of Maya and UDK. I think I ultimately want to model environments in games, which seems to be a lot of what is in your portfolio. What sort of programs did you use for those models and animations?

Thanks a lot :P It's a lot about practice. I've done some flash stuff, but not a whole lot. It didn't appeal that much to me.. Though I like what you can do with the program. Never worked in maya and only took a small look at UDK as I was debating wether to start working in that or unity before I settled for unity :P though I did make some stuff in UT2004s editor back in the day.

Well, I used different versions of 3ds max, which, to my knowledge is more geared towards game than maya is, so I definately think you should give it a look. Theres also a free to use version of max called Gmax which can be found online, though you should know, it's severely limited compared and based on a very old version.
I started out, modding command & conquer renegade, which is why a lot of the stuff is based in the c&c universe, though it should be noted, there are older and horrible versions of things like the vehicles, and my older maps looks like something that could be in pacman(almost), so if you don't make something great right away, it's not that you're doing it wrong(most likely), it's that you're learning and it does take time getting really good to create something you envision :P you can drop me a messege if you need a few pointers or help with anything. I posted some links to tutorial sites earlier in the thread, and also mentioned that a good way to go, is to join a modding community, since they will often help you get started. That does require time investment though :P Just so you know.

@Zero 129
thanks man :D i appreciate that, and I hope so.
I want to release it for phones, but licensing of the engine I use for a base model for either android or ios costs 400 us dollars, which is a bit more than I can afford right now. I do hope that with it's release, I'll be able to gear up some interest in a phone port :P It's not really the longest or most advanced game, but as it is, it'll run in your browser, it'll have full voice acting.. and lots of shooting at moles :P I'll drop you a messege when the web version is finished.
I've been fiddling with the idea that If it does manage to generate enough interest, I'd add some new levels and things while porting to add some more incentive to replay the game. (though I have a few other ideas that might also help people want to replay it)

This is one of the promo pics for the game:

Yes, it's very cheesy :P It's supposed to be though, So it's okay.

With the interest in moles in the thread, i'm pretty confident about posting a thread dedicated to it when I finish the web game :P Ofcourse I hope that people are going to like it, and perhaps even send it to their friends or share it over things like facebook. Now that would be awesome :)

Check out my game about moles ^
