I would think that Demon's Souls goes both ways. I broke a controller playing Demon's Souls one time out of agression (actually...I just dropped the controller because I was so mad and the plastic between the R1 and R2 button broke off  :/)

Mine was in SF4 about 2 years ago. My brother threw my controller after a good hour of SF4 with me XD Controller still works just fine. Worn down but in working condition.
