Considering their past work, despite plot holes, all is fine right now (especially when this isn't even work from the actual upcoming game).

Complaining about plot holes when it's a only tech demo, without a fully fleshed out story...

it is a tech demo but it is presented as a short film, if they didn't want people to think about the story telling then they shouldn't have added a story to it. 

Anyway it's probably just me being a Science fiction nerd, if it was another genre I probably wouldn't have a problem with it. But when I see Science fiction I guess I just assume that there will be a cerebral level to it, higher than most other genres and I tend to overanalyse. Hell that is half the fun of watching Scifi IMO If it had been presented in a cheesy comedic way I also probably wouldn't have a problem with it ether so that is a testament to the tone if anything. 

Anyway I can be safely ignored, I don't really feel like starting another argument, over a tech demo presented as a scifi short film of all things. Especially something I only really noticed because of the genre and presentation.

 

Oh and was anyone else reminded of that adventure game Cradle?
