I'm loving Metro myself (with my LG Optimus 7) and Windows 8 uses it incredibly well! It's just one reason why I don't have any desire to buy an iDevice at the moment. The fact that I will be able to get devices that can act as both fully fledged tablets and fully fledged laptops is really important to me, and completely renders Android and iOS devices moot for me.
