The fact is, walk into the average high school these days:

- The average girl is wearing a six-inch skirt 

- Students have little respect for their elders

- The school's day-care is full of kids whose parents are about thirteen years older than them

- The kindergarteners are little shits who can't stop swearing.  When I was that age (which was only 17 or 18 years ago) you would NEVER hear a four-year-old kid tell you fuck off.

Seems like you get your version of society from the media. Presumably the "values oriented" media.

Nope, I'm going off what I've seen in person.  I also sometimes work at schools (both elementary and high school), and I see all of these things that I mentioned.  And the troubling part is that these same schools weren't like that just a few years ago.

What school? DC public? LA high? I'm in BOSTON, and I don't see that.

I'm in Canada--we're supposed to be the 'nice' ones and I see it at schools all over the place.
