Here's a really good analysis of the Vidoc.

The most interesting thing this guy found was that the spartans were seemingly dying faster than normal. I wonder if Halo 4's shields are weaker? Not sure if I like that...

I didn't watch the breakdown yet but the thing that people need to keep on mind is that Halo has SOOOOO many different playlists. I can totally see a game type where the shields are weaker, maybe something between standard fare and SWAT. Perhaps this is the case in what's been shown.

This is a little off topic but I saw someone on GAF say that O'Connor is starting to look like a young Ballmer, I about pissed my pants.

Ok, I just watched the breakdown and I maintain that just about everything that this dude points out could easily be explained by the game type theory. Not to mention how early on in development this footage is probably from.

Yes, I agree it could just be the gametype, but it's very possible that it is not. I don't think that a gametype with lowered shields would be called BR Slayer.

damn i hope this won't be true! that's one big thing what halo's multiplayer is about, longer duells which cost much more nerves than only a short shot and the duell is over! as more shots you need as more skill is needed to win against you opponent that's one point i loved abut halo! ok games with one shot kills are very skill based as well but there it's most time only reaction time which kills the game for many even when they play very good but don't have this reaction time which isn't possible to get better for many even with thousands of hours of gameplay. so a good ping is very important there as well and if you need a lot of shots this problem is solved.

at least if it will be true i hope they will implement some kind of "halo classic" mode with more energy.
