I believe Resident Evil (both of them) and Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney were revealed a long time before the 3ds launch. And there's talk of Ace Attorney 5 and a new Resident Evil. And of course, the whole Megaman Legend imbroglio, which was canceled due to mysterious reasons.

And now so far, 3 months after release, we have nothing on Vita from them. So, no, it's not really the same situation.

You're right though... they don't feel obligated, but Sony should make them feel obligated ($$$) to support Vita.

Capcom announced Revelations before the launch, but that's pretty irrelevant seeing as how the game was just released last month almost a year later.

It was actually one of the initial titles that sold me on the 3DS, but in retrospect, why bother buying a new platform for a game that's announced a year in advance?

As of now, almost one year after launch, Capcom has three titles on the 3DS in the Western market. Three.

It won't take much effort on their part to give the PSV the same amount of support at minimum.

3 games, including 2 original games in a year is great. Not only that, there's two big ones (may I say HUGE ones) coming this year probably (MH 4 and Ace attorney vs prof. layton) and of course the localization of MH Tri G, which surprisingly has a chance of reaching west before the PSP version

But you answered yourself... if capcom took more than a year to release an announced game, how much it'll take to release an unannouced one?
