.... it literally boggles my mind that anyone would say this.
Let's look at the last two Mario party games. Mario party DS opened to 104k in the USA and ended up with 3.8million sales.
While Mario Party 8 opened to first week sales of 263k and ended up with 3.36million in the USA.
Not only this but being a more casual orientated game it tends to have more first week walk in purchases as opposed to high pre-orders. Mp9 will do just fine. Won't do quite as well as MP8 since the Wii U will cut it's life short, however to say it will bomb hard because pre-orders aren't massive is just nonsensical.
