That probably didn't help, but the biggest problem is the game itself. Word of mouth can't be good for it, so sales would have come to a sudden end regardless of GAME stocking the game.

It's an okay game, pretty mediocre-ish. Very overhyped, not anywhere close to Xenoblade in quality. But I don't think it's bad enough to have a bad word of mouth.

I hope that was sarcasm. You can't say that a game is mediocre and overhyped only to conclude that it won't have bad word of mouth.

It's not a bad game so why should it have bad word of mouth? It's more likely that the game will have non-existent word of mouth...not bad or good. Just so-so.
