My stance on game and DLC has always been.
"Is the product worth the money, all other gripes aside?" If it's yes, I usually buy it. (keep in mind I only buy like 10 games a year).
Capcom's done just as ridiculous things before, if I remember they released a better version of SF4, and you had to rebuy the whole game to get the extra content. Instead of offering at DLC.
I think making on disc-dlc is bad from a public perception. Because it shows that you had the content done before it went gold. And you're not even trying to hide that you had the content done.
However, these companies pay sales people to try to figure out how they can push the public while not hurting sales to get extra profit. That's how a lot of industries work. Obviously if you can sell something for 30$ that you're currently selling for 20$, it makes sense to raise the price, in some sense it seems currently the way to raise the price of videogames is DLC and for some reason on the disc dlc.
edit: I see that there's sony mascots there, they obv won't be on the 360 which could mean, it won't be dlc.
