Actually they shouldn't even try to serve two masters. They can't please everyone and based off the price and market strategy they haven't decided to. They know the whiny hardcore gamer will buy it regardless because it is the only game in town for that crowd, they can poop on people as much as they want and the hardcore gamers will call it fertilizer to grow games from. So for that reason alone the price of the memory cards etc is pretty good.So effectively they need to give lipservice to these people whilst directing the rest of their resources aside from a few token efforts towards marginal customers whom could go either to an iPod Touch or 3DS.
